The Meaning of Life
“What is the meaning of it all?” This is a question we ask ourselves at different times in our lives. It may be after a tragedy or painful circumstance. It may be when we’re gazing at the stars after we’ve fallen in love. It may be when we look into the eyes of our child for the first time and realize “I am responsible for this person! What do I know? How will I teach him what is truly important in life? How can i convey that he will always have value, no matter what the world says? How can I give her inner peace, so that when the inevitable bumps in the road hit, she will not despair?”
When you’ve discovered something amazing, that has the power to transform broken, hurting people into vibrant, joyful people regardless of circumstance, it must be shared! In fact, I am an Ambassador of peace! Part of my purpose in life is to bring this good news to those I can. I will share at some time how my foundations have been shaken, and how this relationship with The Eternal God of the Universe carried me.
First, let me tell you directly from his word how to have a relationship with Him;
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” This is not hard to realize. Have you ever lied, stolen, cheated?
Romans 6:23a “For the wages of sin is death…” Wow, this is bad news indeed. To be eternally separated from God?
Romans 6:23b “…but the gift of God is eternal life.” Now the good news! Every other religion asks you do pay the price for your sin and do enough good to make up for the bad. God says: “I will freely give you this gift. Salvation will cost you nothing.”
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” It cost God the very life of His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ! He has died so that YOU MIGHT HAVE LIFE!!!
Romans 10:9-10 “9 Say with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord.” Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Then you will be saved. 10 With your heart you believe and are made right with God. With your mouth you say that Jesus is Lord. And so you are saved.” NIRV
Jesus did not stay dead. God raised him from the dead!
There you have it. The way of salvation. So simple, yet so very very deep!
